SMART HOME LIGHTING

Smart home lighting automation

Lighting automation is one of the first things people think about when you mention smart homes. That’s not surprising. Smart home lighting offers so much -  convenience, comfort, energy savings and enhanced security.

It’s also an area where Nisi Group excel.

We won the Excellence in Lighting award at the 2024 Control4 dealer conference for our Hoppers Crossing project.

Innovative lighting was also a major feature in our Malvern project, which won the 2023 NECA State Award: Domestic Residence. It was also featured in CePro and Connected Magazine.

OUR SMART HOME LIGHTING OPTIONS

Centralised lighting: manage lighting throughout your house from a single control panel. Control blinds, audio and more from the same panel.

Connect an app on your smart phone, or a touch screen, and manage your lights and effects from anywhere

Integration with security systems

Integrated LED strip lighting to reduce glare and showcase your unique style

Energy saving options: sensors turn lights off after a period of inactivity in a room

Smart home lighting custom-designed for you

Nisi offers lighting solutions for both new build and retrofits. Lighting is very personal and we design to suit your tastes and your lifestyle.

The Hoppers Crossing project featured geometric designs, where the lighting was a focus of the overall design rather than an accent. The setup included warm bright colours and 1.2km of LED strip lighting.

The family in the home celebrate Divali, and were thrilled to light up their house for the festival. They marked their daughter’s birthday party by turning the entire house pink. There are also programmed scenes for more everyday scenarios such as bedtime, or settling in to watch a movie in the home theatre.

We also see strong demand for Circadian lighting systems – the light in the home mimics the CCT (correlated colour temperature) of sunlight over the course of the day. So in the morning and the evening, you have warm light, while the middle of the day is a cooler white. Circadian lighting automations can even match the changing days of different seasons. Recreating natural daylight is a great way to brings the outdoor inside, supporting better sleep and wellbeing.
